Our Portfolio (PDF)This project aims to commemorate the birth of every newborn with a tree planting, fostering environmental conservation for future generations. By celebrating new life with new greenery, we're building a sustainable future. So far, over 500 newborns and their families have participated, leading to the planting of an equal number of trees across various communities, improving local ecosystems and air quality.
By encouraging the cultivation of nutritious vegetables and fruits at the household level, this project works to improve food security and nutritional standards for rural communities. It empowers families to grow their own food, reducing dependency and promoting healthier diets. To date, more than 100 households, benefiting approximately 4,000 individuals, have established their own successful nutrition gardens, enhancing their daily dietary intake. We provide them 5 fruit trees of different varieties.
This project is committed to improving women's health in rural areas by raising awareness about cervical and breast cancer, providing early screening, and educating women on prevention strategies. It aims to save lives through timely detection and knowledge dissemination. We've reached over 5,000 women through awareness campaigns and provided screening services to more than 500 individuals, significantly contributing to early detection rates.
By educating children about the concepts of good touch and bad touch, this project ensures their personal safety and helps protect them from sexual abuse. It empowers children with knowledge to recognize and report inappropriate behavior. We've conducted workshops for over 3,000 children and their 1,500 parents/guardians, fostering a safer environment and greater awareness about child protection within communities.
This project raises awareness about the harms of child marriage and works to stop child marriage in rural areas through education, empowerment, and legal aid. It strives to secure a better future for young girls, allowing them to pursue their dreams. Our interventions have directly prevented over 200 child marriages and educated more than 4,000 community members on the negative impacts, empowering girls and their families.
Through sports, this project encourages positive change in rural society by developing leadership, teamwork, discipline, and social values among youth. It uses the power of play to build character and community cohesion. Over 1,200 young people have actively participated in our sports programs, showing improved social skills, increased confidence, and a reduced risk of engaging in harmful activities.
PAPRI Youth Change-makers is an initiative by the People Advancement Power Rural Institute (PAPRI). They aim for these communities to become self-reliant development partners, fostering peace and harmony.
Strengthening the skills and knowledge of young people in various areas relevant to rural development (e.g., leadership, entrepreneurship, advocacy, health, education, environmental awareness).
Providing opportunities and resources for youth to take active roles in addressing community challenges and improving their own lives and the lives of those around them.
Mobilizing young people to participate in local development initiatives, raise awareness on social issues (like child marriage, acid violence, child labor), and advocate for their rights.
Equipping youth with vocational training and support for income-generating activities to improve their economic stability.
Inspiring young people to become agents of positive change, addressing issues prevalent in rural settings such as illiteracy, unemployment, malnutrition, and gender inequality.
Join us in making a difference! We welcome passionate individuals who want to contribute to rural development and social change. As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with communities and make a lasting impact.
